Our kitchen is the heart of our home, built for hosting and mingling. Dominating the space is our massive 13.5ft x 5.5ft island, crafted from two jumbo slabs. Drawn to the timeless allure of white, especially in the PNW's gray landscape, we opted for a bright aesthetic. Reminiscent of our previous home, we incorporated beams for that cozy touch of warmth and character. Our sturdy counter-height stools have endured the antics of both the kids and the dog. The subway tile (8.5 x 4ish), with its off-white hue and Mapei gray grout, adds a classic touch. The addition of a pot filler has proven indispensable, while our 'gun metal' pulls and 'antique silver' lighting infuse a hint of modern sophistication. Ultimately, our kitchen embodies our love for gathering and entertaining friends and family!
